New York, July 12. That Major General Shirley’s, and Major General Sir William Pepperrell’s Regiments, with the New-Jersey Regiments, commanded by Col. Peter Schuyler, his Majesty’s four Independent Companies of New-York, and the four Provincial Companies of North-Carolina, were posted at Oswego, and the several Forts and Carrying-places between that Place and Schenectady.
